Harder than you think!

I got this in an email. At first I was a little shocked that someone could think of something so terrible. I still have mixed feelings about the whole thing. I am not sure if I should, or could, answer these questions. So feel free to leave any sort of comment you want. You don't have to answer, but you can if you want. You won't hurt my feelings.

1. If you were offered 1 million dollars for every friend you had, would you call me your friend?

2. What if you were offered 500 dollars for every friend?

3. 20 dollars?

4. 1 dollar?

5. Now, what if you had to pay 1 million dollars for every friend you had, would you call me your friend?

6. What if you had to pay 500 dollars for every friend?

7. or 20 dollars?

8. or what if it was just 1 dollar?

Can you even put a price on friendship?

Hypothetical situations are never good. If I had to pay $1 million for every friend I had, you can bet I would say I don't have any friends. Not because I like my friends any less, but simply because there is no way I could ever pay that. I consider you a friend no matter what though. Good thing we don't have to pay for them.
