Shhhhhh!

I was extremely bored the other day and decided the only cure would be flipping channels. I know, I know. I could have found something better to do, but I was tired from the past few days and I was feeling lazy. I stopped when I came to the beginning of a movie. I could tell it was a movie because important names kept randomly popping up and mysterious music was playing in the background. The only thing on the screen was a girl, running through the woods. I was trying to decide if I should change the channel before the movie got to creepy but it was the middle of the day and I still had many hours of light ahead. As the movie went on, I found out it was The Silence of the Lambs. I have heard of this movie before, but never actually seen it because I thought the title was stupid. Pretty shallow, but true. It actually turned out to be a pretty good movie. It was sort of creepy and gross, but still good. It didn't really have a lot to do with lambs... actually nothing at all. The main character runs away from a lamb farm when she is like 10 because she can hear the lambs scream as they are being slaughtered. That' s it. They should have called the movie Hannibal the Cannibal. Maybe more people would watch it. Silence of the Lambs just sounds stupid!

I think they made a sequal...maybe a prequal to this movie and called it hannible the cannible...or just hannible, I can't remember. Either way, I love the Hannible Lector movies.

Oh, Christa, you're breaking my heart. The title's not dumb! Clarice still hears the lambs screaming, so The SILENCE of the LAMBS is very symbolic. Think about what Hannibal does in the movie. Think about the girls he does it to - they're innocent, just like lambs. The Silence of the Lambs? Any clearer?
